XMRBazaar is a Monero-only peer-to-peer marketplace founded by Douglas Tuman. It operates on a classifieds model similar to the late LocalMonero — users post buy/sell listings, negotiate terms via built-in messaging, and optionally use 2-of-3 multisig escrow for secure settlement.
Unlike Haveno (which is a desktop DEX application with automatic order matching), XMRBazaar is a web-based marketplace where you negotiate directly with counterparties. This means more flexibility in payment methods, amounts, and terms — but also more personal interaction.

Fill out your profile bio with your trading experience, payment methods, and service areas. If you have reputation from other platforms (LocalMonero, AgoraDesk, Haveno), mention it with links. A complete profile builds trust.
To buy XMR: Browse sell listings, filter by payment method and currency, then click to open a trade.
To sell XMR: Create a listing specifying your price (fixed or margin-based), payment methods accepted, minimum/maximum amounts, and trade terms.
Listings support Cash by Mail, Face-to-Face, bank transfer, PayPal, gift cards, and any other method you and the counterparty agree on.
Use the built-in messaging system to agree on exact terms. Share your Monero address (use a fresh subaddress for each trade). For Cash by Mail, share mailing instructions. For face-to-face, agree on time and location.
For trades with new counterparties, always use escrow. XMRBazaar's escrow uses 2-of-3 multisig: your key, the counterparty's key, and the platform arbitrator's key. Funds cannot be released without 2 of 3 signatures.
Listings with escrow enabled show a green lock icon. If a listing doesn't offer escrow, you can request it before starting the trade.
After the trade completes, both parties confirm and leave feedback. Positive feedback builds your reputation, making future trades easier and attracting more counterparties.
An interactive map showing face-to-face traders worldwide. Enable your map listing to be discovered by people searching for local Monero traders in your area. This is one of XMRBazaar's unique features — neither Haveno nor OpenMonero offer geographic discovery.
XMRBazaar has a built-in forum for community discussions, reputation verification, and dispute resolution. It's a good place to introduce yourself, share your trading history, and engage with the community.
If you traded on LocalMonero or AgoraDesk, you can reference your archived profiles. The Wayback Machine preserved many trader profiles, and you can link these in your XMRBazaar bio as proof of historical trading activity.
I trade actively on XMRBazaar with escrow enabled. Cash by Mail (EU-wide) and Face-to-Face (SW Germany).
